Its strength comes from a unique cross-structure frame, which not only gives the platform a minimalist Scandinavian look when raised but also allows it to fold flat into its own footprint for easy storage. With a simple push of the side handles, the surface glides effortlessly through multiple different height settings.

When flat, the Opløft Sit-Stand Adaptor is just 30mm thick and weighs only 12kg, making it easy to move between workstations or store when it is not in use. The Opløft Sit-Stand Adaptor can move with you wherever you decide to work.

After months of redesign and refinement, Opløft Sit-Stand Adaptor has evolved from its prototype into a beautifully crafted sit-stand adaptor that transforms the way we work. Choose from fourteen heights to find your perfect sitting or standing position. At the lowest setting, the surface height is 30mm and rises up to 420mm.

Its powerful gas spring technology ensures smooth, effortless lifting. The spacious surface offers ample room for all your equipment, whether you use a monitor or a laptop, with enough space for ergonomic keyboard and mouse positioning to reduce strain and enhance comfort.

The cross-structure frame not only gives Opløft Sit-Stand Adaptor a stylish aesthetic but also reinforces its strength and stability, allowing you to lean on it without worry. The Opløft Sit-Stand Adaptor measures 780x600mm at its widest point, and its front and rear are 680mm wide.

The monitor arm options can be purchased as an optional extra and designed specifically to fit seamlessly with the Opløft Sit-Stand Adaptor. Made from durable and stylish aluminium, the arm is easy to assemble and install. Both the single and double monitor arms include integral cable management for a tidy workspace and are supplied in silver.

The single monitor arm supports a maximum load of 6kg, with a tilt adjustment range of +90°/-80°, 180° rotation, and height adjustment up to 415mm. It is compatible with monitors up to 28 inches, and the VESA mount sizes range from 75x75mm to 100x100mm.

The double monitor arm supports up to 4kg per arm. It features a tilt adjustment range of +90°/-80°, 180° rotation and height adjustment up to 415mm. Ergonomics Live: How a Floor Walk Delivered Immediate Impact

The Challenge

A technical team operates in a highly controlled indoor environment, undertaking a combination of intensive screen work and physical tasks involving delicate materials.

Despite having adjustable desks, ergonomic seating, regular DSE assessments and manual handling training, management wanted an independent review to ensure that workstation setups and working habits had not drifted over time.

Our Approach

Osmond Ergonomics & Wellbeing delivered a half-day Ergonomics in Practice Floor Walk, combining:

  • A practical workshop on posture, fatigue and workstation setup
  • One-to-one workstation reviews carried out in the live working environment

Advice was tailored to the team’s specialist equipment, space limitations and physical demands.

The Impact

Out of 14 staff, approximately 50% of workstations were adjusted on the day.

These small but critical changes, including chair height, screen position, and input device placement, immediately reduced strain and improved comfort. The session also refreshed awareness of good working habits, helping prevent the slow return of poor posture that leads to musculoskeletal issues.
